HRmax indicates the highest heart rate a person can achieve during a maximal exercise. The value depends mainly on age, genetics, exercise type, and medication. By identifying your HRmax, you can determine your appropriate training zone.
If you did not complete any Hexoskin Fitness Test to determine your HRmax (i.e. 400m Maximal Sprint Test on the App), the platform will use the information in your profile to calculate your HRmax value based on this equation:
HRmax = 208-0.7*age
Please note that by completing the 400m Maximal Sprint Test on the Hexoskin App, your actual HRmax value and other metrics based on this value (energy expenditure for example) will be more accurate and more representative of your physical condition.
