Hexoskin does not report the number of "wake" during the night. Instead, we are giving the total "wake time". To obtain the number of “wake time”, you can manually count them during a night of sleep.
Our algorithm classifies the sleep phase as “wake” as soon as there is a lot of movement.
Therefore, Hexoskin will report a change in sleep position as a “wake time”. If you want to confirm that the wake time that you detect is due to a change in position, you can correlate the “wake time” with the change of position.
Also, physiologically, it is normal to detect more movement just before and after a REM phase. Therefore, it is normal to have the sequence “non-REM, wake, REM, wake” during a night of sleep.
